The Quarterdeck Inn in Port Hardy offered great value for the money with comfortable beds and loads of hot water. The location was beautiful, overlooking the marina, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent and the wifi was of good quality.

I felt at home in this bright hotel. The staff was pleasant and incredible, the food was delicious at fair prices. I booked huge and adequate room with great view, basic Kitchenette, for example. My stay was such great here.

It has good and stunning location next to the waterfront and central, and walking trails along the estuary and through dense forest to the salmon hatchery. Its rooms are pet-friendly, had a really nice stay for one night: )

All in all, it was best base for travelling to Port Hardy. The location was marvellous and excellent, really close to walking trails along the estuary as well as several local sights. Also, Port Hardy Harbour was within easy reach.
There was breakfast missing, I was a little disappointed.
